What is AutoCAD?
AutoCAD is a computer program created by Autodesk. It is the industry standard drafting method for many types of drawings, including but not limited to, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, and plumbing drawings. Computer Aided Design, or (CAD) was introduced to the public around 1982. Since then it has grown with the industries and taken the place of drafting by hand in most cases for production drafting.
